"Complex work" is any tattoo that takes more than two or three sessions to complete. "Color" means the obvious, and "black and grey" is done only with black ink, diluted to varying degrees with distilled water. "Coverups" are tattoos carefully designed to disguise old, unwanted tattoo work.
